Use NEB Brochures to Build Good Will

As a financial professional, you have a unique opportunity to educate your clients about their insurance or financial needs.. NEB’s consumer protection guides are a great vehicle to this end. Here are some ideas for using them in your practice.

  1. Set the proper tone with new clients by providing NEB consumer-protection guides at the first meeting.
  2. Include the guides as part of monthly client mailings.
  3. Pass them out at your client appreciation events.
  4. Put together a seminar around the topics covered in an NEB brochure. Use the brochure as a handout.
  5. Advertise the brochures in your client newsletter or on your web site.
  6. Provide free copies of the brochure to local nonprofit groups.
  7. Provide them as a public service to local long-term or continuing-care facilities.
  8. Keep a stack of them in your lobby for visitors and clients to take away.
  9. Post our consumer brochures for free on your web site or e-mail them free to your clients.

he point is this: Educating your clients builds tremendous good will. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in your clients’ lives.
